Parenting with Intention and Connection:
A 4-Week Virtual Journey for Parents of Neurodivergent Children

with Carolina Ramirez & Andrea Vargas

Parenting neurodivergent children can come with many challenges, so we’d like to extend an invitation to deepen our presence, compassion, and understanding. It’s about honoring your child’s uniqueness, while also nurturing your own inner wisdom.

In this 4-week virtual program, we will lean into parenting with intention, connection, and a deep understanding of your child's unique brain and behaviors. Together, we will explore how to create a nurturing and supportive environment that honors your child’s individuality while providing practical strategies to navigate everyday challenges.

As parents of neurodivergent, autistic, ADHD, or children with complex behaviors—especially within our Latino and POC communities—we often carry the weight of societal expectations, cultural values, and personal beliefs. This program is designed to help you clear the noise and tune into your heart and soul, as well as the essence of your child. Together, we will create a space where your intentions and connection to your child can flourish. We will work through culturally sensitive approaches to help you connect with your child in ways that empower both of you to thrive.

Andrea Vargas, LMFT

Born in Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, I have navigated the intricate challenges of assimilation and acculturation, shaping my unique perspective on mental/emotional health. This journey has shaped my deep understanding of the unique struggles and strengths within our communities.  I am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space where individuals can explore their true selves. My passion for therapy is fueled by the resilience of those I serve—the families, individuals, and generations navigating cultural expectations while seeking self-discovery and healing.  I strive to normalize the importance of mental health care, challenging any negative beliefs and misconceptions that may exist within our community.

My approach is rooted in a humanistic and culturally sensitive framework, recognizing the rich cultural heritage and diverse experiences of each individual—where we dismantle stigmas and rewrite the narrative that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. My mission is to make quality, culturally responsive mental health care both accessible and affordable, without compromising on quality or professionalism.

By honoring our cultural roots and fostering a sense of belonging, I aim to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives. Healing is a right, not a privilege—and I am here to walk that path with you.
